I. Application Background
With the deepening of reform and opening-up in recent years, exit-entry administration policies have gradually opened up, and the number of entry-exit persons has increased by a large margin every year, meanwhile, the issue of violations of laws and regulations by various types of exit personnel still exists, and the workload of the immigration management department has also increased. 2.1. System Function Introduction
a. This system standardizes and manages the exit and entry business, realizes office automation, and provides the society with active, high-quality and efficient entry and exit business services, using the advanced computer technology;
b. The system technically guarantees the seamless connection across multiple network platforms; the transparency between multiple operating platforms enhances the information sharing function with other public security systems. The system has made reasonable and scientific improvements, and improvements to the original business model in accordance with development needs, strengthened the review and supervision of entry and exit qualifications, materials, procedures, etc., and at the same time enhanced the overall supervision and control and business control capabilities.
c. The design of the system strictly follows the relevant standards issued by The Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China. 2.2. System Features:
a. Using modern computer communication technology, in accordance with the principle of "business process management mode" and "centralized management", the management of private outbound business will be integrated into computer automatic management and monitoring. Ensure that the entry and exit business processing is standardized, efficient, and has high security and confidentiality;
b. Comprehensive monitoring. The manager can monitor the progress of the entire entry and exit business, the details of the processing, and control the entire process of business application and approval through the system;
c. Support automatic warning function. Automatic alarm, certificate expiration forecast, automatic search of historical data, automatic withdrawal of control due to inspection and control, automatic prompting of the legal basis and processing procedures of punishment, etc;
d. The entry-exit management information system adopts the design idea of "management of entry personnel as the core", and registers the lodging of entry personnel (including the registration of the travel industry and the scattered residence carried out by the police station, etc.), electronic passports, visas, document management, foreign-related cases, and other organizations is managed in a unified manner to form an information management model that collects data from the police station to the municipal bureau.
III. Analysis on The Status of The Exit-Entry Management Information System:
The computer information management of all exit-entry administration (EEA) authorities in China grew out of nothing, support for the single point to the mainly business process, and also support information integration and sharing now. The exit-entry administration has reached a scale, and the scope of application has covered the main business of exit and entry management, realizes the network management of counties, cities, provinces basically.

IV. The main problems existing in the current EEA system:
1. Information acquisition is inconvenient. Exit and entry personnel need to show valid ID cards (Chinese Mainland ID Card, Hong Kong and Macau Permit, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, Passport, and etc.) when going through relevant procedures. The staff need to record the guest’s last name, first name, ID number, Passport number, address, date of issue, etc. At present, the main method is to enter information manually. This method has a high error rate and a long time-consuming method. Meanwhile, it also increases labor costs and is extremely inconvenient for the information collection of exit and entry personnel.
2. Security issue should be considered. If the original e-passport information or certificate information is not retained, the suspect may not be traced
Analysis:
1. The manual input of original identity information is hard to guarantee the accuracy.
