On the morning of June 13, the “Nearly Convenient” Service Zone for Taiwan Compatriots was officially inaugurated at the Xiamen Municipal Public Security Bureau (PSB) Travel Permit Center for Traveling to Jin. This service area is designed for Taiwan compatriots, providing cross-departmental “one-stop” integrated services, its convenience and efficiency has been unanimously praised by the Taiwan compatriots.

    The service area is located in the Xiamen Public Security Bureau's travel to the Golden Tourism Documentation Center, which is only 50 meters away from the Wutong Terminal of the Xiamen-Golden “Mini-Three Links” route. Taiwanese compatriots can reach the center within 3 minutes on foot after entering the country, which greatly saves processing time and distance.

    The special zone integrates six high-frequency processing matters of immigration, population, traffic police, criminal investigation and other police departments to provide five-year compatriot permits, temporary entry motor vehicle driver's license permits and other documents for joint processing. Processing time limit from the original 5 working days compressed to 3 working days, the fastest in case of emergency can be the same day to obtain the certificate, realizing the “one place, one window, one time” for processing, greatly facilitating the Taiwan compatriots.
